Lot Essay

The arms are those of Frederick with Marescoe in pretence and impaling Marescoe. Cf. D.S. Howard, op.cit., p.202. The service was made for Leonora, widow of Thomas Frederick, a merchant for the East India Company, and son of the Lord Mayor of London. Cf. also Sir A.
