Proof 1884 (c.), American Bank Note Company 5c. imperforate plate proof block of 191 stamps (lower right corner block of nine removed) on wove paper, overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red across each horizontal pair of stamps, annotated at top "Stamps to Mr. Agg to send to Urug(uay)" - the remaining three stamps have been stapled to the sheet and have been chemically treated. Also 1884-86 rouletted 1c. olive block of 99 (upper right corner stamp missing), similarly overprinted.
