Oblong, the hinged cover formed by an enamel plaque the exterior depicting hunters in feathered headdresses and skirts and dogs chasing a stag with trees at either side, gilt with tranlucent red and greed details on a white ground, the base set with a plaque with a gilt and turquoise enamel trellis in geometric floral borders gilt and with pink, turquoise and translucent green enamel, the mount with reeded rims - 3 1/8in. (9.8cm.) long
