Shaped-oval and with gadrooned and foliage border, engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest, marked on reverse - 17¾in. (45cm.) long 57ozs. (1,774grs.)

The arms are those of Currie impaling Raikes for Isaac Currie Esq. (1760-1843) of Bush Hill, Co. Middlesex and his wife Mary-Anne (d.1834), eldest daughter of William Raikes Esq. of Valentines, Co. Essex, whom he married in 1789
