The Property of THE LATE HON. SIMON FRASER, MASTER OF LOVAT
The following six lots are each engraved with the arms of Fraser impaling Jerningham quartering Stafford and others for Thomas Alexander Fraser, 14th Baron Lovat (1802-1878) and his wife Charlotte Georgina (1800-1876), daughter of George William Stafford Jerningham, 8th Baron Stafford, whom he married in 1823. With the exception of lot 155 the pieces were made in 1823, no doubt in celebration of the marriage
