No less than six bottle formats of one of the great sucesses of the 1982 vintage. From the almost unique 20-bottle nebuchadnezzar to standard bottles
10 notes, from an attractive, fruity cask sample in May 1983. Remarkable for its very distinctive bouquet: medicinal, oyster shells, peppery, much fruit, touch of vanilla, all combining to blossom in the glass. Soft and fleshy from the start despite the '82 tannins. Loads of fruit, extract. Chunky, touch of iodine. A very good mouthful. (M.B. GVWB II)
