A GEORGE I WALNUT AND BURR-WALNUT BUREAU, cross and feather-banded overall, the rectangular top above a hinged slope enclosing a fitted interior of four pigeon holes and four drawers above a well, the spreading frieze with two further drawers, the sides with lacquered brass carrying-handles, on scroll-headed club legs with pad feet, previously, but not originally, with a gallery, the legs possibly associated, one foot spliced, restorations.
