Louise Rayner exhibited a watercolour of The Banqueting Hall at Haddon Hall at the Royal Academy in 1860.
The Long Gallery at Haddon was built by John Manners and completed in 1597. It was undoubtedly inspired by the gallery at Hardwick, although at 110 foot long and 15 foot high it was shorter and the ceiling was lower
