Lot Essay

Piper worked in Snowdonia, North Wales, from 1944 until the early 1950s. He rented a cottage in the Nant Ffrancon valley from 1944-9 and then transferred to another cottage 'Bodesi', at the highest point of the valley. The family would stay for a few weeks each winter
