(Two leaves with marginal tears, some leaves slightly soiled, mostly in lower margin.) 18th-century French red morocco, the covers with gilt floral and scallop roll-tool border with garland cornerpieces, the spine with gilt scroll tooling and citron lettering piece (gilt slightly rubbed, upper cover scuffed), g.e. A rare first edition of the French translation of the Taxae cancellariae apostolics (first printed in 1471) with a commentary by Du Pinet on the tariffs of the Catholic Church, particularly on indulgences. Baudrier IV, pp.338-339; Brunet V-682.
