This interesting plan of the Campagna of Rome was first published by Matteo Gregorio de Rossi in 1692, corrected again in 1696, and reissued in this edition in 1704. This detailed map is based on the surveys carried out under Pope Alessandro VII, which he had intended for publication. Frutaz I p.213.
