the gilt textured partly skeletonised movement, calibre 1868, with fast oscillating one-minute tourbillon lever escapement with gold balance and three-armed anti-magnetic titanium carriage, 76 jewels, adjusted to heat, cold and to six positions, with the split chronograph function planted on the top plate under three-armed steel bridge, the top plate bearing the shield of the Canton Schaffhausen, repeating hours, quarters and minutes past the quarter on two gongs by operating a slide in the band, all under non-reflective glass, the chamfered rear bezel secured by six screws with the inscription International Watch Co. 1868-1993, Il Destriero Scafusia, number 20/125 in high relief, the matt silvered dial with black Roman numerals, the outer minute ring with red five minute divisions, subsidiary dials for running seconds combined with days of the week, date, elapsed minute counter combined with a segment for the moon being a gold moon on a blue background set with diamond chippings to represent stars, elapsed hour counter combined with months, an aperture at VIII indicating the year and century until 2199, a replacement slide concealed in the movement extending the date to 2499, blued steel fleche hands with two sweep centre seconds operated by two square buttons and the sapphire set crown, in circular case with chamfered bezel and non-reflective glass, the maker's black leather strap and yellow gold buckle, unsigned guarantee, book of instructions, certificate of authenticity, maker's book on 125 years of I.W.C. and the manufacture and use of the Il Destriero Scafusia wristwatch, mahogany presentation box with marquetry inlay depicting the town of Schaffhausen, and outer packaging, case, dial and movement signed - 42mm. diam.
