Tasting note: magnificently opulent on nose and palate. Appearance consistently deep and velvety, though not showing signs of maturity; a bouquet that defies description, rich, deep mulberry Merlot, scented, spicy, vegetal wholemeal, and then a sort of tarry cinnamon. Very sweet, immensely full-bodied, firm yet fleshy, texture, slightly chocolaty, crammed with fruit. (M.B. GVWBII)
