Lot Essay

This model, reference 2526, was launched in 1953, the first watch bearing the movement number 760000.

It is thought that only 580 examples were made, the majority of which are in yellow gold, and only very few in pink gold. For an example of this model in 18K pink gold, see lot 137 in this sale.
