A variant of this rare model was offered in these galleries on December 12, 1995, Venetian Glass/An Important Private Collection, lot 126. These charming "faceless" harlequin figures served as the inspiration for a wedding gift that Archimede Seguso designed for his son, Gianpaolo, in 1971.
