printed and painted with a floral mehrab surrounded by borders of flowering vines and cypress tree cartouches, the field sprigged with flower-sprays, with a lower frieze of floral swags and ribbon-tied bouquets, Persian, 19th century--88cm x 120cm; a panel of gilt brocade, woven with vertical rows of rose plants, the bands between with blue and white ogival cartouches, trimmed with brocade ribbons with parrots and cockerels amidst carnations and daisies, 17th/18th century, (joined)--22.5cm x 40cm; a panel of zari silk woven with rows of boteh against a gilt ground, 19th century, (joined)--88cm x 103cm; and another brocade panel (joined) with parrots perched in flowering shrubs, heat stamped with a hexagonal lattice, with borders of green-ground brocade, the central panel 17th century, (distressed)--90cm x 152cm
