the ground of apricot pink silk embroidered to either end with a panel of stylised flowers and pomegranate motifs worked in brightly coloured silks, one edge bordered with flower-sprays with geometric leaves, Tetouan, Morocco, late 19th century, (slight fading/stains to ground) --40cm x 428cm

Lot Essay
