Maker's mark of J. W. Story & Wm. Elliott, London, 1811
Urn form, on fluted spreading circular base, the lower body applied with alternating radiating acanthus and wheat with flowers, with chased guilloche border, two sides with berried laurel wreath cartouche, one vacant, the other applied with two racing mounted jockeys, with two partly reeded and foliate wrapped upswept handles, with Bacchic mask upper join, the detachable spool form cover with applied grapevine band, and topped by beaded acanthus bud finial--16in. (40.6cm.) high, 116oz.
