Deep rectangular with concave corners, gilt-lined, engraved all over with flowers, foliate scrolls and shells with diaper-work borders, centering motto and crest on the hinged cover, base underside engraved in script Presented to George Sydney Hatton Esq. by 72 of his brother Officers as a token of their sincere friendship and esteem November 1855--4in. (10.16cm.) long, 6oz.
