A MEXICAN EMBROIDERED SADDLE AND SWORD
A circa 1880 Mexican saddle, constructed with round skirts, embellished with cactus fiber embroidery and grape leaf design. The exposed rawhide seat is designed with a Mexican eagle and snake motif silver mounted horn. Mexican sword is chased with eagle and snake emblem. The saddle swells are silver mounted, the cinch rings are inlaid with grape leaf designed silver--seat: 15 in., horn cap : 6 in., sword: 32 in.
