AN IMPRESSIVE ANTIQUE HESSONITE GARNET AND DIAMOND BRACELET
The front of old mine-cut diamond openwork foliate design, enhanced by oval-cut garnets, joined by pear-shaped garnet and old mine-cut diamond heart-shaped shoulders to a garnet and diamond scroll link band, mounted in silver and gold circa 1840--7 ins. long
Provenance
This bracelet was given by George, 6th Duke of Marlborough to his daughter, Lady Louisa. Colonel Robert Charles Henry Spencer (1817-1881) married Lady Louisa Spencer-Churchill on July 14, 1845.
