TWO HOPI COTTONWOOD KACHINA DOLLS
The first, standing with bent legs and arms at sides, a variation representing Kawaika, case mask painted blue and red with cloud motifs and protruding split beak, tableta on each side of face and cloud symbols on top, wearing a white kilt with sash, torso painted red with white patterning on the shoulders; the second, standing with bent arms at sides, possibly representing Omau-u Kachina, the Cloud Kachina, with blue case mask decorated with cloud and lightning bolt motifs in red and yellow, a T motif between the rectangular eyes and a tube mouth, red arched ears and feathers on top of mask, wearing a white kilt with sash, blue armbands and boots, torso painted red with yellow on shoulders and forearms
