Of bulbous form with scalloped rim, on a domed molded oval base, cast and chased with a bacchic scene on a matte background below a band of trailing grapevines, with drunken Silenus held up by two satyrs on one side and the infant Dionysus riding a donkey and two satyrs on the other side, with a scroll handle chased in the imitation of a twig, the interior gilt, marked below rim, the base engraved ANGELL,10 STRAND
