Circa 1780, the movement signed IMBERT L'AINE
In the form of Venus in her chariot attended by Cupid and a pair of doves all surrounded by billowing clouds, the circular enamelled dial with Roman chapters, with silk-suspended pendulum, the base with central relief panel of playful putti and band of interlaced hearts backed with blued steel, on turned feet, one foot lacking to back
