Crowned puce and iron-red interlaced L's enclosing date letter Z for 1777, painter's mark for Buteux, gilder's mark possibly for Boulanger
With branch handles and gilt pomegranate finial, painted in rich pastels with oval panels of trophies emblematic of Music and Love linked with flower garlands and wreaths, reserved on the white ground gilt with seeded diaper and foliate scrolls
