Jean-Louis Morin, active at Sèvres 1754-1797.

Overtime records for 1769 note Morin, Fontaine, Asselin, Genest and Madame Noualhier as painting medallion heads on similar pointillé wares. A two-handled cup and saucer painted by Morin is in the collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum. The Wallace Collection has an identically decorated teapot and two similarly decorated cups and saucers.

See Rosalind Savill, The Wallace Collection Catalogue of Sèvres Porcelain, London, 1988, vol. II, C347, C359, C381 for a detailed discussion of these pieces, their marks and attributions.
