The rectangular superstructure with three-quarter pierced gallery inlaid with writing utensils and floral sprays above two central drawers inlaid and mounted sans traverse with a lyre medallion flanked by tambour doors over two short drawers above a hinged top inlaid with an ivory oval portrait medallion flanked by floral bouquets, opening to a velvet-lined writing surface and enclosing compartments, above a central frieze drawer and kneehole flanked by two drawers, on square tapering legs with lambrequin foliate sabots
