The large jar of ovoid form with bulging shouders slanting upward to the short neck and everted, rolled lip, fitted with a domed cover moulded with two circular shallow platforms supporting the lotus-bud knop, the body and cover both covered by a glossy clear glaze with blue hue, the ring foot of the jar unglazed, the recessed base and the interior of the cover also glazed, interior cover also bearing five spur marks
