Rectangular, with hinged cover and set on four short round feet, decorated on the cover in inlaid mother-of-pearl with a reserve of two flying cranes and peach branches, a su character roundel in the center, inlaid on the front with cranes, turtles and deer among bamboo and pines within a shaped reserve, sides also inlaid with square landscape reserves, fitted with flower shaped metal mounts and lockplate with a tongue-form hasp
