Nostalgia
The Nostalgia range of 'New Toy Soldiers' was commissioned by the prominent dealer Shamus Wade, created by Jan and Frank Scroby and introduced in 1974. They were available only from Mr Wade, with new issues announced through his monthly mail order lists. The regiments depicted are those of the old British Commonwealth and Empire. Each set was issued as a limited edition and moulds destroyed once the quota had been issued; each figure was given its own catalogue number and a combined number for each set.
