cf. Bruno Foucart et al., Normandie: Queen of the Seas, 1985, pp. 70-71 for a black and white period illustration of the Grand Lounge with a gold and silver lacquer relief by Jean Dunand. Entitled The Chariot of Aurora, the relief was based on a cartoon by Jean Dupas. It consisted of 75 panels and served as the partition wall between the Grand Lounge and Smoking Room. See pp. 76-77 for color illustration of the relief.
