Rectangular on a plinth base, decorated with a mosaic design in green, mauve and blue, surrounded by panes of swirled glass in green and blue, bordered by rows of raised mother-of-pearl jewels, on the sides, back and top, the bronze and glass door framed by raised mother-of-pearl jewels with alike decoration continuing along the bottom of the case, accompanied by pendulum with sun decoration, also with key, the clockworks stamped Japy Frs. J d Med. D'Honneur/A 1/MADE IN FRANCE 1901 5.5 and needle engraved 5775
