A MASSIVE PAIR OF ROMAN BRONZE HANDLES

Each with a foliate grip branching above into two arms for attachment to the vessel rim, each terminating in modeled duck heads, the grip terminating below in a facing head of Medusa emerging from a volute, her round face framed by radiating pointed locks, her wide almond-shaped eyes with dotted pupils
