A GREEK GOLD LION HEAD PENDANT
circa 5th-4th century b.c.
The snarling lion head fabricated in two halves, right and left, with some incised details, a beaded border at the join with the end-plate, a small circular plug in the center of the end-plate filling the "trap-door" which allowed the hot air to escape during soldering, a suspension loop above of three joined beaded wires
