A NOMADIC GOLD AND GLASS PENDANT
circa 6th-7th century a.d.
Of lunate-shape formed of cut sheet joined at the outer edge by a strip of cellwork with triangular glass inlays, each face two tiers of concentric lunate extensions, the outer one a collar containing cellwork with glass inlays, circular in the center, framed by two cells on either side, each tier fringed with granulation, interspersed with large granules, with granulation on the stem of the two suspension loops projecting from each end
