A late 18th century rosewood alarm timepiece, the rectangular shaped case with pointed top flanked by spire finials, on rectangular moulded base with brass bun feet, the arched silvered dial with Roman numerals and Arabic five-minute divisions and central alarm indicator, signed in the arch Bishop, Portland Street, the ringed pillar movement with verge escapement, pull wind alarm on the backplate, the alarm striking on a bell -- 10½in.
