The Dwarfs' cottage, pan production background, watercolor on background sheet, with Start Sc23A, Stop Sc23A inscribed in pencil on lower margin and NOV 1 1937 stamped twice in lower right corner. Approximately 1½ in. of the left margin, showing a portion of the stamp reading BG CHECK SEQ 13A BG 11 16 O'LAY 11-16 EFX NO EXTRA NO and signed in pencil J. Atwood, which has been cut and is attached to the back. . The final production overlay of a tree-stump and an ax is missing.
The background appears as the Witch, holding the apple, is helped into the cottage by Snow White.
