Lot Essay

Jack Connelly's saddlemaking business was located in Livingston, Montana. In the late 1930's, he moved to Billings, Montana where he united with his brother, and the saddles thereafter were marked Connelly Brothers. According to Lee Molesworth, his father had described this saddle to him as being the last one made by Jack Connelly and marked as such.
