A SILVER INKSTAND, maker's mark of Black, Starr & Frost, circa 1910, the rectangular platform on four foliate scroll supports, with openwork scroll, floral and trelliswork gallery between, the far ground with two depressions for the two silver hinged covered, square cut glass inkpots, centering rectangular stamp and pen compartment, with hinged sloping cover, with applied C scroll rim, with part openwork back plate of shaped outline--8½in. (21.5cm.) long, the stand 15.5oz.
