A GEORGE IV SILVER TEAPOT, maker's mark apparently JA, London, 1823, compressed circular, on raised circular base chased with floral band, raised on four shell centered foliate tapering feet, the sides chased with bold trailing flowers and scrolls on matted ground, centering two sides vacant scroll enclosed oval cartouche, with applied ruffled rocaille and floral collar, with decorated scroll spout and handle, the hinged raised, decorated, cover topped by covered urn form finial--8½in. (21.5cm.) high, gross weight 30oz.
