The high pontiff is seated on a triple cushion covered by a blanket, it's borders are engraved with scrolling flowers, both hands in dhyanamudra, wearing patchwork monks robe, pleated cape, its borders engraved with scrolling flowers, his face with meditative expression, slit eyes, nose, smiling lips, elongated earlobes, short cut hairdress, reverse of base with inscription providing the name of the student (Gar.gyi.dbang.phyug Dpal.ldan Ngag.bdang Chos.kyi.nyi.ma) who donated this figure, resealed
