The 1985 whites here are magnificent - still youthful, with very pure flavours and great length. 1984s could be bargains, for Morey made a fine success of this vintage . He late-picked his 1983 whites, so they have always been powerful. WHile they lacked finesse when young, now the elements have come together explosively. For those who love old white Burgundy, the wines may be served with rich fish or crustacean dishes, with foie gras, and with poultry in a cream sauce. AH
