GONE WITH THE WIND, 1939
A 1939 issue of TIME Magazine featuring Vivien Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara on the cover; a collection of fifteen original stills and star "headshots" from the film (both on and off camera); and, a 1941 letter from Margaret Mitchell on her personal stationery, "...I am going to send you a small gift. ..It is a copy of the Danish translation of "Gone With The Wind" and it is illustrated. I have found these very interesting, especially when I learned that Mr. Axel Mathiesen, the artist, had never been in the United States and had never seen a Negro.
