PLANET OF THE APES, 1968
A three piece "Chimp" costume used in the production of the film. In the fortieth century the "Chimps" were the thinkers, doctors, lawyers and explorers. The costume consists of a green cloth jacket with brown leather collar and attached fringe at cuff, green cloth pants, green feet/shoes. Two Western Costume Company labels #2771 attached. The costume was reused in Beneath The Planet Of The Apes, Battle For The Planet Of The Apes and the television series; a photograph from the first sequel is included.
