Modelled as a old man seated in loose robes and holding an ivory closed fan, the bare right arm muscular though the face lined around the mouth and recessed beneath the cheekbones, pupils of the eyes rendered by inlaid ivory discs, a section of the pate also inlaid in ivory, inlaid rectangular signature reserve on the base missing, himotoshi on base--2 5/8 in. (7.5 cm.) high
