CIRCA 1890, IMPRESSED MINTONS AND GILT CROWNED GLOBE MARK, IMPRESSED SHAPE NO. 1946, SIGNED L.(OUIS) SOLON
Of baluster form with scrolled snake handles extending between the shoulder and the underside of the everted rim, the front with a brown ground pâte-sur-pâte panel of 'Veils', the back with a brown ground panel of 'Entrapping Cupids', both reserved on the faux lapis lazuli ground minor nicks to lower body just above the join with the socle --24in. (61cm.) high
