A LOUIS XVI STYLE ORMOLU AND PATINATED BRONZE GRANITE MANTEL CLOCK, DATED 1881, BY HENRY DASSON

The glazed circular white enamel dial with roman chapters signed 'Henry Dasson à Paris', beneath a ribbon-tied oak leaf-and-acorn wreath surmounted by a flaming torch and quiver of arrows flanked by a seated scantily clad putto holding a cage, on a rectangular plinth with bound berried-laurel trim, raised on beaded globular feet, inscribed 'Henry Dasson 1881'--22¾ in. (58cm.) high (3)
