A console-jardinière with similarly moulded uprights was delivered by Jacob-Desmalter in 1837 to Marie-Amèlie for her appartements at the Grand Trianon (see D. Ledoux-Lebard, Le Mobilier Français du XIXe Siècle, 1984, p. 365).
