Rectangular, the cover applied with a commemorative silver and silver-gilt plaque enclosing a silver-gilt laurel-crowned wreath enclosing the badge of the Michael Artillery School and set around with cannons, swords and artillery weapons, surmounted by a banner inscribed in Russian on stippled ground "Okhta Dynamite Factory". At each corner of the plaque, with the following dates, 1859, 1862, 1866, 1972 and 1876 alternating with the openwork inscription "to Tit Stepanovich Stomma from colleagues", the back cover on four silver ball feet, marked on cover
