With circular nickel finished jewelled lever movement, the cream dial with stylized Roman numerals, blued steel hands, the typical asymmetrical case with back secured by four screws, concealed bar lugs, together with an 18K gold Cartier asymmetrical buckle deployant clasp, case, dial and movement signed

This watch, numbered 182, was produced in a limited edition of 400 pieces in 1991. This is a replica of the "Crash" watch first made by Cartier in 1969, inspired by Salvadore Dali's paintings. A similar watch is illustrated in Le Temps de Cartier by Barracca, Negretti and Nencini, p.295.
